Overview of Cancer Patient Aid Association (CPAA)
Founded in 1969, the Cancer Patient Aid Association (CPAA) is one of India’s oldest and largest NGOs dedicated to supporting underprivileged cancer patients. For over 50 years, CPAA has provided holistic support — from early detection and patient care to rehabilitation and palliative services — making a tangible difference in the fight against cancer.
Our Commitment
At Social Aviator, giving back is an integral part of our culture. Our founder has been a volunteer with CPAA for over a decade, long before Social Aviator was established. We see our partnership with CPAA as a way to leverage our industry relationships, creativity, and network to raise funds and awareness for underprivileged patients battling cancer.
Objective
To raise substantial funds and awareness for CPAA through high-impact fundraising events featuring some of India’s most loved artists, at zero cost to the NGO.

How we add value:
- Celebrity Outreach: We secure A-list artists through our goodwill and industry network, pro bono for CPAA.
- End-to-End Event Management: Concept, planning, venue booking (Shanmukhananda Hall, Rang Sharda, etc.), production and ticketing.
- Fundraising Channels: Ticket sales, sponsorship packages, and concession stalls.
- Media & Promotions:
- Press conferences with heavy media coverage to spotlight artists, sponsors, and CPAA.
- Outdoor visibility through barter deals with partners like Minimax and Bright Outdoor — typically 10 hoardings, busbacks and shelters for 10 days pre-event.
- Digital Campaigns: Continued support beyond physical events through online fundraisers and live-streaming concerts.
Fundraising Impact
- Ticket Revenue: ₹30–80 lakhs per event.
- Sponsorship Revenue: ₹20–40 lakhs per event.
- Concession Stalls: ₹2–3 lakhs per event.
- Total Raised (Offline + Online): Over ₹5 crores for CPAA across the past decade.
These funds go directly towards treatment, medication, and rehabilitation for underprivileged cancer patients, helping CPAA expand its reach and provide critical services at no cost to beneficiaries.
Media Mileage for Partners
Our model ensures sponsors receive tangible visibility while supporting a cause:
- Brand coverage in press conferences and media stories.
- Outdoor campaigns on hoardings, busbacks, and bus shelters.
- Digital mentions and content tie-ins around the event.
The Result
This long-term collaboration has created one of the most sustained private–NGO partnerships in India’s cancer care space, proving that strategic entertainment events can drive large-scale social impact.
Partner With Us
If your brand wishes to join hands with CPAA as a CSR partner, please feel free to reach out to us. We can design a tailored CSR strategy that allows your brand to put its best foot forward in cancer care and support for the underprivileged in India.
If you are a brand looking to sponsor any of our upcoming events, we already have a full calendar of CPAA fundraisers planned across fashion, music, lifestyle, and fitness. We would be delighted to collaborate on one of these existing events — or even ideate a custom event specifically for your CSR objectives.
Beyond high-profile fundraisers, we also welcome support for medical camps in cancer-affected areas, which directly serve those most in need. Together, we can create meaningful change at scale.
